I am a pianist and music educator just east of Ottawa, Ontario.
I teach piano to students of all ages and am available as an accompanist and to play piano for weddings and special events.
I play classical, jazz, popular and sacred music. My favourite pastime is listening to live music of all types.
Formerly, I was a business analyst for many years, until I made the decision to pursue my love of music, which has always been an important part of my life.
I spent my formative years preparing for Royal Conservatory exams and music festivals. I earned my college tuition by accompanying for ballet classes. I have been an pianist and organist for congregations in Kingston, Scarborough and Ottawa. Currently, I am the music and choir director at Knox United Church in Edwards, just outside of Ottawa.
My musical education continues. I have studied jazz piano and jazz ensemble with Garrett Leaver, Steve Boudreau and Tim Bedner. For several summers I have attended the JazzWorks camp at Lake MacDonald. I am currently enrolled in the Undergraduate Piano Pedagogy Certificate program at the University of Ottawa.
