A new choir directed by Chris Peacock is being formed for the No Borders Art Festival which will take place at the NECTAR Community Centre, May 16 – 24. The choir will sing “Before We Went Away”, a song with text by Garnet Angeconeb and music by Beverley McKiver. The song is about Garnet’s depiction of life before he was taken to residential school. Choir rehearsals begin Sunday, March 1 at 4 p.m. at NECTAR, 255 McKay Street, Ottawa, Ontario.

I will be playing piano for singer Jacynthe Bigras at Pressed Cafe, 750 Gladstone on Friday, January 22, at 7:00 p.m. We’re proud to be part of a great lineup including Spirit Flowers, Josh Lewis, NShannacappo, Cody Coyote.
